Celebrating Chinese New Year in London is an exciting experience that brings people from all backgrounds together to enjoy the rich culture of the city's Chinese community.


The parade winds through the busy streets of the West End and has become a must-see event of the year, attracting thousands of people eager to join in the fun. Every year, the area lights up with a stunning display of colour, sound, and energy, featuring traditional lion dances, amazing floats, and the rhythmic beats of drums echoing through the streets, creating a joyful and exciting vibe.


As the parade moves along, the streets buzz with laughter, chatter, and the occasional firecracker. Performers wear vibrant costumes with intricate designs and bright colours, offering a visual treat that captivates everyone. People of all ages clap and cheer, their faces glowing with happiness as they enjoy the impressive shows of talent and artistry.


Capturing the magic

The fisheye lens was perfect for getting the lively vibe of the crowd, and the 17-50mm lens helped me zoom in on the cool details of the performers and the awesome decorations lining the streets.
