Autumn is such a cool season, with nature going through this amazing transformation. The bright reds, oranges, and golds covering everything make for a gorgeous scene, and it’s no wonder so many photographers head out to snap the stunning autumn views.


While capturing open landscapes is a good option, this season is also a great time for photographers to zero in on the small details around them with still life photography.


You can really show off the awesome textures and colours of fall leaves, acorns, pinecones, and seasonal fruits and veggies by putting together some cool still life setups.

Over the years, I've had a blast capturing the essence of autumn with still life photography, snapping shots of various subjects that really embody the season. Here are some examples.
