When you think about Canada, seasons probably come to mind. Cities and towns feel like totally different places in summer and winter. That's why Ontario is an awesome spot to explore and revisit with your camera.
Check out some photos I took back in 2013 during the chilly and warm months.

Winter in Ontario
In the winter, Ontario turns into a beautiful wonderland. Snow covers everything, making it feel calm and peaceful. Cities like Toronto and Ottawa get all decked out with festive decorations, and there's plenty to do outside. You can go ice skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, which is the world's largest skating rink. Plus, the frozen waterfalls and ice formations at Niagara Falls are stunning, attracting photographers and nature enthusiasts alike.

Summer in Ontario
When the snow melts, Ontario really comes alive in the summer. The warm weather is perfect for getting outside and enjoying nature. With thousands of lakes, including the famous Great Lakes, there are tons of spots for swimming, boating, and fishing.
Hanging out in the city is cool, but the real fun is in the great outdoors.

Is Ontario worth visiting for photo trips?
Yep, the short answer is yes. But you'll want to choose your spot and the time of year carefully. Consider adding the smaller towns to your intinery. They have a cozy, peaceful vibe, and the locals are super friendly.
Winter in Ontario is all about beautiful snowy landscapes. But trust me, the cold is nothing like what you're used to in the UK. Those chilly months aren't for the faint-hearted, so you'll need to bundle up.
On the flip side, summer can get really hot, like Spanish weather hot. It's the perfect time to grab your camera and check out the many lakes north of Toronto.
