Food and drink photography is a fun and exciting way to show off how amazing and tasty different dishes can look.


Even though food photography isn't really my specialty, I do have a bunch of photos that mix with other styles like still life, wildlife, and documentary photography. These styles bring their own unique vibes and storytelling to the pictures I've taken.


My goal wasn't just to make something that looks yummy; I wanted to dive into the bigger stories and contexts around the stuff I photographed.


Check out some of the photos I've snapped over the years, highlighting the many cool ways food can be captured through photography.




Still life food and drink photography


In the world of still life, I've played around with setting up food items to really show off their shapes and colors.


I often throw in natural touches like flowers or fruits to make the whole thing look even better. This way, I can give food a more artistic twist, turning everyday ingredients into eye-catching pieces of art.

Still life food photography - Halloween


When everything spooky comes out to play, it's also the perfect time to satisfy our sweet tooth. After all, trick or treating is all about those tasty treats. Check out these food photos to get in the Halloween spirit!

December rolls in with the smell of cinnamon and spices. After all, food and drink are a big part of the festive season.

Still life - Objects out and about


Some objects were captured while out and about. The approach was simply to document what I see and capture a close up feeling for the environment I was in.

Discarded items


Sometimes items that have been left behind can make for captivating images. Sure, they don't look as refreshing as the above beverages. But they do tell a story of their environments.

Portrait photography with drinks props


A glass or cup in your models hand can make for a great prob in the genre of portraiture. Here are a few images I captured.

Food and wildlife photography


Sometimes my wildlife photography crosses paths with food themes, snapping shots of animals in their natural habitats as they interact with their snacks. This offers a genuine and unfiltered look into the wild and how creatures connect with their meals.

Food and documentary photography


Documentary photography has been a big part of what I do. With this approach, I've aimed to share stories about food culture, traditions, and the folks who make the dishes.


It’s not always just about the food; the setting and vibe around it help us get a better grasp of its importance in different cultures and communities.

It's only natural that food and travel would overlap. Afterall, rewarding your tastebuds is part and parcel of why we explore the globe.
